Elaboration of the unique algorithms of step motor control on the basis of LAMBDA probe and TPS sensor signal enable very quick and precise controller calibration. A possibility of auto-calibration makes a big advantage of the ALTIS controller, which makes the installation easier and shortens the device installation time in a motor car as well as increases the control quality and reduces fuel consumption. It also increases the controller versatility. The installation and calibration process are independent of the motor car type and make as well as of the mechanical subassemblies (reducer) in use. A possibility of traditional controller calibration has also been left for the fitters accustomed to the older generations of devices by means of their manual modification of the mixture ratio. The number of the adaptation program functions enables an individual vehicle setting subject to the driver’s requirements and drive style.
